... that this is a BUSINESS client. In other words, this person is ADMIN!
We just had a new product release (thankfully while I was on vacation) but this is the first email I received in regards to it. Oh, how I missed our customers... and per usual, this is verbatim.
I just installed your new version of YourSoftware 2.0 and enabled active protection. What happened next is a first and as embarrasing as it may be, I am pissed nonetheless. After running a few quick scans on some of my test systems, I started deploying to the remainder of our workstations here. After deploying the agents and setting up my policies, I started the qucik scans. I sat and watched my system and was very impressed with the limited amount of resources that this used.
When i went back to the server, I found that quite a bit of malware had been detected on my system. When i started going through the scan history, my jaw dropped. i ran back to my system and I could nto believe what had happened. The agent deleted over 120GB of "adult content" that I have been collecting over the years. I mean, there was some classic stuff here. It appears that this was all removed due to being identified as something called image director.
What did you do, and who is helping me to get my porn back? It is all legal shit. Do you guys even test those definitions? The bad thing is that I had it all backed up to antoher system on the network...but that system was scanned as well. I tried unquarantining the files and it appears that only a few of them are actually unqurantined.
