Oh G-ds.  I am so about to drive down to the fecking 1st Level Help Desk and beat the snot out of each of them behind the dumpster.  I got a ticket for a user two weeks that stated that the user was having trouble logging into VPN.  Over the last two weeks, I have reset her fecking password a total of (counting) ...twenty-seven times.  Now, she has gotten her supervisor involved in the issue -- and we've come to find out that the problem is that she can't get into an application --not the VPN.  (sigh)  The original ticket says that her access into the VPN was the issue, which I've been troubleshooting -- now I come to find out that I have been working the wrong issue thanks to the ineptitude of 1st level to document the issue correctly in the first place.  *head-to-desk*  I'm so glad I work from home...that way I can crawl back in bed, pull the covers over my head, and pray to the G-ds that the day starts over when I pull the covers back down.

I am not *really* asking for an answer to this issue, but if you have one
that would be a bonus. I'm just wondering if this is just a coincidence or
there is something bigger going on. Our callcenter (only gets about 600ish
calls a day) has gotten a dozen of these errors today. Is there a virus
or bad update or something I'm missing?

I was able to walk one user through getting some details, but they
were pretty much useless. details )

Of course it won't work. Power Point doesn't like to do anything other than waste people's time. It's not a graphic program It's not an image program. It's a piece of shit. Scrape up your nickels and dimes and buy a graphics program. Gah! Do try to open cans at home with a RonCo pocket fisherman? Well? Do you, punk?!!!
