Of course it won't work. Power Point doesn't like to do anything other than waste people's time. It's not a graphic program It's not an image program. It's a piece of shit. Scrape up your nickels and dimes and buy a graphics program. Gah! Do try to open cans at home with a RonCo pocket fisherman? Well? Do you, punk?!!!

Powerpoint has a known problem printing to large format printers. It's a matter of the program being stupid and refusing to do the math for media over 42" or so.

I used to sysadmin a shop that did large format. We despised powerpoint, and that's all we ever got.

As an Adobe Illustrator junkie, my users have no idea how much I lothe power point. Hell, even when it's used in it's intended purpose I hate it. I've only seen one good powerpoint presentation and that was by a comedian/magician. At no point in his show did read out any words that were displayed on the screen. I bet Laurie Anderson (http://www.laurieanderson.com/) could also do a good power point show.

Might be worth it to create a simple graphics layout app with an interface similar to Power Point but geared towards printing. Or even a helper app for power point, similar to Photoshop/Image Ready. If anyone runs with this and makes a mint, please remember me and my '70 Impala new transmission fund.

I just have to make it until Friday. have that day off. Bummer is that I have to work 4 10's this week. Bastages are grinding me down with their stupidity. Still, I do get a few who have their shit together. Just had one guy call in that needed a profile document transfered from one computer to the other. I only had to give him the path to it once, he got it transfered over, created all the relevant directories and was able to log in on the first try. Fucking amazing. Almost restores my faith in rocket scientists.

As for Friday, I have a new bottle of Bushmill's Black Irish Whisky and a case of Guinness. Life will be good.

Aaaagh! Of course, no problem. I'll just pull electronic paper out of my ass! I know we've been promised that it is just around the corner but apparently, they're waiting on flying cars to deliver it. In the meantime, I'll use my staggering powers of the lower intestine and genegineer some nanobots to build you your fucking animated paper!
