The complaint: "I installed a new power supply and now my CPU fan is a lot louder."

The actual issue: "I decided to clean out my computer of all manners of foreign particle while installing a new video card, RAM, and power supply, and while I was at it the CPU's thermal compound looked like an oddly thick clay-textured layer of dirt."

How do you just happen to check in between your CPU and CPU fan just in case it's dirty? Even after years of tier 1 helpdesk support I would have rated this incredibly unlikely.

Brand new member of staff, upon visiting our office in person:  "I need my email to be looked at.  I did call the Helpdesk and followed all the correct channels and everything, like I was told to, but it was taking too long, so I'm here for you to fix it now."

Dear Client,

When you give me five minutes to set up import and integrate a new procedure and rota please be aware that mistakes are bound to happen. Clearly you have know about this change for quite some time - considering the wealth of information you have just supplied me, and the fact that you have made ALL your clients aware but only deemed it necessary to tell me now.
I do not request 48 hours notification for major procedural changes to be implemented because I'm lazy.  I request notice as these things take time to put into place.

If it f*&#s up, don't blame me!
