application was re-loaded two days ago
removed excel11.xlb and allowed temp to rewrite
rebooted machine, which is terribly slow
app help>about loaded up a website

this file does the same on another PC
but a separate file opened easily
I believe that it's not a problem with version
but actually a case of file corruption.
user has a workaround, of course
and will re-write the file from a working source.

I am teh bored at work.

So I come home and see I got a bill in the mail.

It says my domain is about to expire and I need to pay it.

Only problem being I'm the person incharge of all domains for my ISP and I know my registrar.

So once more the assholes behind Domain registry of Europe aka Domain registry of America  has found a new coverstory.

They are now calling themselves Domain renewal group. www.domainrenewalgroup.net.

They send out things that looks like bills but are in actually a "transfer your domain to us and pay for renewal".

Sigh. Every single year I have to deal with MY clients who got the bill , freaked out and payed it when they have their domains at my ISP under our own registrar.

I just hate all the extra work they give me cause they've built their businessmodel on "scam people into becoming clients".

Call'em up and talked to their supervisor. well for all of 20 sec before he hung up. I guess being confronted isn't so much fun.

Just wish ICANN could go out and block registrars/sub registrars that pull this stupid shit.

Anyone else come across these jokers?

Subject: loose, limp whammy bar

Fresh out of the box, the guitar controller has a very loose whammy bar, which dangles straight down and will not stay in position, making playing the game more difficult, and frustrating.

I've played various Guitar Hero titles using other controllers on many platforms, and none of them are like this - they all have whammy bars that have a nice, stiff feel and stay where you leave it.

I believe that the controller that came with my game must be defective, and would like to replace it under warranty.

hahaha. I wonder if the guy who had to respond to my query gets a lot of messages like these...
