PC Task Force
Aug. 29th, 2006 04:03 pmThere should be a task force, that I would gladly contribute tax money towards that would seize the computers of the inept so they can be used by some one who knows how to properly operate/maintain them. When I get some moron on the phone, I should be able to hit a big red button that would summon an Apache Helicopter to the person's residence. The task force would then repel down and bust through the windows - throw some tear gas for good measure - grab the computer and then take it to a shelter where it can be rehabilitated/upgraded and adopted.

a stupid tax...
when getting a copmputer, the person's skills and need are taken into account. therefore, if, like the average BT BrokenWorld customer, they are idiots and they want to buy a Cray UberMegaTron 10000 with 32 core, 128bit 8Ghz dual processors, a metric fuckton of disk space and a backbone internet connection, but just want to use it for the occasional email, (seriosly, they do this) then they should pay a massive tax.
This tax would partly go towards paying tech support people better, and partly go towards helping poor techies afford proper PCs.
