techrecoveryDid you know that the flat end of a USB cable can fit into an Ethernet port?
Neither did I...nor would I have ever thought of doing that. But after spending 5 minutes with a guy that swears he has a USB cable plugged in, and receiving no new hardware wizard, I finally discover that he had put the USB cable in the ethernet port I had just had him remove the ethernet cable from....
