My name is Jana. That is pronounced "JAH-NUH". When I answer my phone, I state my name. No one EVER gets it right, the most common one I get is "Janice". Closely followed by "Janet".. In fact, it's to the point that when they DO get it right, I go out of my way to help them even more than I need to. I've tried everything, including enunciating to the point of hilarity. I don't even correct them any more...

What are some of the names people come up with for you?

Rarely, but sometimes do I get Stan, Ron, or Ed. *shrug*
