It just goes downhill from here....8 years in tech support, The stories that have mentally scarred me for life, and the bitter hatred of all mankind... I'm just too apathetic to go work the overtime for the money to buy my AK-47....

AK47s are really cheap, you know.

Not encouraging mass (or small-scale) murder. Just sayin.

You know what I use that the customers still fuck up? 'F as in Florida.' What on this earth starts with an S and even remotely like Florida??

This won't get them off the call, and all I typically care about is making them disappear these days. It's not like I'm paid to actually give quality customer service... my rankings are pretty much completely based on getting a lot of customers off the phone so they can use their computers to get off.

I am 19, and trust me....it gets worse. Speaking of which, I've went back to the resume to update it so this tech support job I have currently hopefully will be going bye bye.

Personally, just to make the day that much more fun, I think we should use the following ..

G as in Gnarley
K as in Knowledge
P as in Phillipines

just to see what happens :)

or even better

G as in GNU
K as in KNOW

I'm also a big fan of:

me: can you give me the serial number please?
customer: 8, 1, 'h' as in hotel, 'j' as in... ... ...
(me thinking "'juliet!', 'joe!', 'just kill me',
say something, dammit!!")
... 'j' as in 'jaundice'
me: wha--? Err, 'j' as in 'jaundice' *headdesk*

come on... it's not like you were trying to some up with something that starts with "X" or "Q"... if you don't know your phoentic alphabet, just make something up! Pleeze!

no no.. it's the O, and the 0 which kills me...

Me: O for Oscar, H for hotel, the numeral Zero..
Cust: "What?? the letter O???"
Me: No.. Zero... the numeral....
Cust: How do I write a zero??
Me: *sighs* let me get you another password without a zero or the letter O...
