Since work is a little slow, I thought I'd share this one from the archives. At the time, one side of A4 printout cost 3 pence (about 5 cents)...
Dear Support,
I have printed out a 10 pages paper at around 11:00, but the printout was
taken by someone.
I would like to know:
i) How can I claim that lost formally.
ii) How can I catch the thief (I am serious, I will call the police if I am
not satisfied)
iii) Can you suggest any ways that I could get my printout back before I go
any further ?
Best Regards,
xxxx
He later found the printouts... in the pile by the printer.

Date: 2004-10-20 12:54 pm (UTC)"How can I catch the culprit" Well it's a little known fact that we put microscopic GPS devices on each piece of paper our printer prints. All we have to do is punch in your code and Viola! It's on Marsha's desk, go kick her ass. Then call the police to kick her ass further.

Date: 2004-10-20 01:34 pm (UTC)I really don't know how some of these momo's have managed to survive to adulthood. Then I remember what my coworker told me her grandmother once said: "g-d looks after the ignorant."
I'm an agonist myself, but *something* has to be looking after these yutzes, cuz they sure as hell don't know how to care for themselves! :P

"Doesn't matter, sir, they're still stolen, and no report was made to list them as being found, we'll have to turn you over to the police. We take printout theft very seriously."
