i have a question does anyone know where i can get rid of an old montior that doesnt work where do i take it? Someone told me best buy takes them any ideas thanks!!!
Best Buy / CompUSA had a recycling program that (according the the web link I was passed to) ended on Labor Day weekend, where you could bring in one system a day & they would dispose of it.
Actually, no, Best Buy didn't. At least, none of the stores in the northeastern part of the USA were participating in it - it may have been a regional or district thing, or even just a one store thing (The lab stores out west do all sorts of wacky stuff). They DO have a recylcing drop-off for old cell phones, rechargable batteries, and ink cartridges / toner cartridges, in conjunction with an EPA program. CompUSA has ALWAYS recycled used towers, but I do not know if they do that with monitors or not.
