Interesting.. I love it. The filters and stuff in GMail work (unlike Moz Thunderbird or MS Entouage) I'm using it for regular e-mail and can say I'm more than impressed by the feature set it has.
Eh. I only use the filters a little bit, and the message threading, which I was really looking forward to, pretty much sucks... I've submitted feedback, we'll see what happens.
I've had it for a little over a month now, myself, and I'm still iffy. I admittedly miss my folders, although the filters DO work.
My problem is I have yet to find a good way to sort or search by date (maybe I'm just clueless and blind) and I get tired of looking at old mail sometimes and want to auto-archive.
I have used Gmail for about three weeks now, and actually there is alot of things I would really prefer changing.
I don't like how if you get LJ comments via email, gmail sticks them in one looooong email. And i've also noticed that gmail likes to hide stuff, like images and the reply box.
Also, if I delete an email, I would prefer it to go to the next, and not to the inbox.
I think it hides the images to protect against webbugs mostly. Also, emails open much faster without images. I'm often thankful for that (I have some people who love sending me these annoying, flashy emails, when I prefer nice plain text.)

Really, I archive everything after I read it, and if I need to find it really quickly, I just star it.
One thing I miss is using procmail for my lists, but the filters are pretty good.
