More a city council suck than a techsupport suck, but it's related to a techsupport issue.
I was told I had to go to the Eircom datacentre in Dublin. The address is Kingswood Ave, Citywest, Dublin 24. I type Kingswood Ave into my GPS and it tells me it knows where to go.
2.5 hours later I arrive in Dublin, on Kingswood Avenue in front of a big fucking empty field and spent a confused 20 minutes wondering where in good gravy the datacentre had gone to.
Turns out the mouthbreathers in the Dublin street planning department decided to give TWO streets virtually identical names: Kingswood Ave, Citywest (an industrial estate) and Kingswood Ave (a residential estate) - and to add more confusion, they're both within a few miles of each other so they both share the same district code, Dublin 24.
GARFAHRGABLE!&^@£&"!
