"I just got an xbox 360 and I have it hooked up to the tv, but I also have xbox live on it. How does it connect to the internet through the cable box?"
"You mean the cable box that provides your tv?"
"Yeah"
"Uhh, it doesn't. The xbox needs to be connected to your cable modem to access xbox live. It's basically like a computer accessing the internet."
"Oh. I get it now. I need an ethernet cable going to the cable box on my tv?"
