Just picked one up from the console folks. They take the customer's info and create the ticket and send it to us. This is the entire problem description:

"need have a capability."

The new desk manager has already issued an official verbal warning to the entire helpdesk because the daytime team lead saw somebody on the day shift using "After Call" status (which takes you out of availability to take a new call while you complete your case notes from the previous call) instead of "Aux 1" status (lunch break) while eating.

This is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about in my previous post on the subject when I mentioned that she treats people like misbehaving teenagers instead of rational adults. There's never been a concern about work not getting done before, but now she's in charge and we suddenly have a full blown national time management crisis going on.

So, yeah. Anyone have a lead on any tech support openings in the Atlanta area? Seriously. I'm not staying here and working for a psycho hosebeast.
