Customer waits 45 minutes to say:

C: I was just wondering if it's safe to use my computer tonight.
J: Um.. Why?
C: Because of that virus that's supposed to hit everyone. Is it safe?
J: ...

It's a virus, not a fucking hurricane! You're so stupid it's not safe for you to be in public!

Why must users have those personalized menus in the Programs Folder?  All it does is make it harder on THEM to find what I tell them to find.

More to follow; or why do people have $familymember doing what they should be doing? )

It's really sad when you realize you've been on Short Term Disability so long that you're itching to go back to work, even knowing it's a helpdesk. And realize that the major reason O stay is not so much for the people yelling in my ear or knowing that the major stressor (i.e. my manager) is not only gone, but she got fired probably because of me.

Well, the pay rocks my socks, and the insurance is really good. Sanity? Who needs it?

Just realize if I start screaming and ripping my eyes out, just put me away in the ol' straitjacket and hide me in the padded cell. Again.

Btw, hi guys, it's been awhile.
