I just go the happy job of responding to customer emails in the common queue. It feels weird not to sign these messages somehow, but I also don't want to give my name or actual contact info (I'm sure you can guess why that is). The best i've come up with is just signing with our domain name, but I'm not thrilled with that as a solution. Anyone have a suggestion or an example for how I can sign these replies so they seem professional?

I just got off the phone with one of my tire retreading plants out in bumfuck wherever. When he called up with his problem with his handhelds, and I asked what version of windows he was running, I expected to hear 2000 or XP...

He comes back with: Windows 3.1.

3.1.

I haven't seen a copy of 3.1 functioning in over a decade. Wow. Much less, running a business on it.

I thought it was bad when I came across a copy of 98SE out there running a retread shop, but this takes the cake.

I thought you all would enjoy that.
