Life just isn't fair.

I have so many stories in my head that come through this phone during my 8 hour day it isn't even funny. I work for an ISP and doing tech support is extremely depressing. Regardless, let me share the most common stupidities that my brain looses-cells over.
Me: "Thank you for calling ***** ***** this is *** I can help you"
Me: "Okay I can help you, lets go ahead and verify your account information - May have your name and address?"
Cust: jdoe@isp.net
As I feel my brain cells biting the dust.

... on one of those horribly busy and understaffed Sunday nights. I'm filling the Lead Tech job, and one of the reps comes past in a fit of giggles.
Apparently one of our customers misheard that he was located on a node, and has decided that he's on a gnome.
And that the gnome is stealing his data.
( It gets pretty lame from here down, but it was funny at the time. )
