a bit off topic, but how can one disable games (spider fucking solitaire, hearts, etc.) on someone's (boss') computer without deleting the program? i want it to look like it's still there, just mysteriously not working.

my boss is one of those ppl who just needs more shit to do, i swear.

If the error message that pops up in your utility billing software is "Prior Reading Date", how hard is it to think "Hey! I should check the prior reading date!" o_O

Her (keep in mind she's like 70 something): Well sweetie, the error message says "prior date"!
Me: What's the prior date?
Her (at this point she seems mad & offended): If I knew THAT...*huffs & puffs* That's what I'm asking YOU!
Me: No, ma'am...I'm asking you what DATE you have written in there for your prior date? When's the last time they BILLED?
Her: April 29.
Me: Is that right?
Her: Well NO, they billed last in MAY. *exasperated with me*
Me: Shouldn't you change it to the May date, then?
Her:... Oh.
Me: *headdesk*
