Jun. 4th, 2004 02:34 pma bit off topic, but how can one disable games (spider fucking solitaire, hearts, etc.) on someone's (boss') computer without deleting the program? i want it to look like it's still there, just mysteriously not working.
my boss is one of those ppl who just needs more shit to do, i swear.

PS my boss is barely computer literate. I have to do her reports for her, she 'breaks' the email once a week, and she's going to have a coronary/stroke when we get our new software in a month.

Date: 2004-06-04 12:15 pm (UTC)Of course, if it's windows 2000 and you have admin rights, you can take away all rights to access the program from any account including the admin group.
Either way, it should be fun to watch.
hahahah...

i've got her totally convinced that the tech support at corporate did it remotely, and that they can see everything she does on the computer. possible, yes. but not with this company. they're pretty laid back.
