Something has been breaking SSL on a few on my EU's machines, and the only thing they have in common seems to be some newer (8.0 or 9.0) version of the AOL client. What happens is that SSL simply stops working. Any https:// URL will go right to "Page cannot be displayed" without even trying.
AOL, Microsoft, and various other TSen have proven to be dumbfounded as to why it happens or how to fix it.
Well, i found a solution on some forum at the ass-end of the Internet:
at the run box or a command prompt:
SSL should be fixed.
