SIR: Well, looks like I'm making a trip to Best Buy for a new router.

ME: (little gasp)

SIR: What? You don't like Best Buy?

ME: Well, it's been my experience that they rarely are. I'd point you to some Consumerist articles, but I know you can't get online.

SIR: What would you suggest?

ME: You got a Fry's* up there?

SIR: Fry's? You must be in Rhode Island.

ME: They have a Fry's in Rhode Island?

SIR: I don't know; I've never been there.

And.....scene.

*Yes, I know a trip to Fry's usually equals another trip to Fry's, but if you just ignore the salespeople and know what you want, it's less expensive in the long run.

There are no Fry's in New England, anywhere.

Nor are there any in the midatlantic. I've never come across one in all my east-coast travels, from Virginia to Maine. Including RI.
