Yeah, this is par for the course. Today is the first of the month, which means that my Mailman list server sends out a monthly reminder message to all the members of every list. It includes your current list password, and URLs to click if you want to unsubscribe or change various options. And of course, today, as every first of the month, I get email from two people saying "can you please unsubscribe me?" or "if everything is ok, do I need to do anything?" And of course, because there are a few dozen lists on this server, nobody ever tells me what list they mean when they ask questions about "this list".

When I was getting pissed off at one of our teams, I'd copy and paste from case notes and write "as per previous case notes". Do the same with "as per the email you replied to"
