Had a tech from our store (computer repair shop) go out to repair a "stuck cd" in the drive.
he is unable to slide the drive out due to some obstruction, and so he has to take the drive out and take it apart to get the disk out.
this is what he sees.


in case you aren't familiar with what it is is.... here...

yep. its the black disk from the inside of a floppy.
when asked, she had never seen or used a floppy before and thought the outside of it was a protective packaging.
we have a feeling she was lying.
but that isnt what was preventing the drive from opening. it was the dried pieces of macaroni.

Sadly, this guy was a Dentist. :-o

Date: 2007-10-13 01:51 am (UTC)I remember in a class children's developmental stages being discussed. There actually is a stage where children instinctively learn about spatial things by trying to shove objects in other objects, around age two.
Yes, there is an evolutionary reason why your two year old did that to your computer.
