Excellent recitation. Google them, though. Tons of sites hit, no real information. Some of hte retoric seems to imply that they're some sort of angry middleeastern hackers that are anti-israel and anti-US, but that could just be the membership.

Though if I got hit for being an American, I'll be ticked. Stupid country . . .

Well, not me specifically, but I mean rather if they were doing some mass targeting of american IP addresses or hosting providers. I'm sure they didn't peg my site as being particularly political. (though if they did, they need to work on their english).

Did it look like this? My web host was hacked last week and all the index.* files got changed to this. Very annoying. I may be American, but my web host is Canadian, so I don't know about that.

iFoto. Just a small php hack, really, but I don't see any evidence that they actually hacked my content. i suspect it's SQL insertion in some aspect of Globat's server that I don't have access to. But I suspect it was done by a bot looking for iFoto wand with code to insert itself onto the gallery page (makes sense since my gallery setup isn't normal, esspecially since you can't access it from any ofmy pages directly). Certainly they didn't stumble onto it or find it in a webcrawler (though they may have followed a hosted picture link form some random web forum or website that I have pictures on).

they are turkish, or at least the core is. they have a lot of english speaking website options, so I suspect it's a larger org than just turkish angry young men.

Side note: as it turns out it hit my forum as well, so it's just all the php stuff I have.

And since the php defaults are hosted by globat and not me it's looking more and more like they got hit and not me. Sort of yay.

I should probably clarify "my system" as a small-ish unix machine that hosts my personal website along with my email domain. It sits off my dsl line at my house.

Here's hoping that globat gets their stuff fixed.
