Looks like a very small ( i.e.; 1-2 man opperation) is looking for another person to either come in and help expand the business, or one of the people working there left abruptly. :)

And the writer does not appear to have a good grasp of english.

Well, they are looking for someone with "good communication skills." Obviously, that is a fairly pressing need.

Man, I don't think I'd trust the turbos of an engineer who can't spell. Most folks in that field tend to be anal retentive, but that's a good thing when working with items that spin up to 100k rpm.

Have you actually worked with people who tweak engines for a living? They are not exactly literate but they know their machines.

Not defending because I really think someone who owns a business should know how to spell. Unlike me, who uses spell check like it is going out of style.

Oh, I've built race engines and know the average type of motor head (which these guys sound like) but when it comes to something like a turbo or super charger, I stick with the super picky types. Launching a rod through cast iron is something you should only experience once.

ummmm, i happen to be a mechanic and i think i'm pretty literate. i will admit to being to lazy to hit the shift key most of the time though.

Literate and lazy is exactly my point. Don't get me wrong. I am totally appreciative of gear heads. Doesn't mean they take the time to do things correctly when it comes to writting unless it is to make sure a part number is correct.
