After being out of the IT field (and out of a job in general) since I stopped doing tech support for a particular fruit company in April, I've submitted a resume for a job doing helpdesk for the District Of Columbia.

Am I insane? We shall see. My roommate works there now and says he LOVE the job- this same roommate is a former coworker of the other job. Which he loathed like no one's business. So maybe it won't be too bad?

I'm not holding my breath that I'll get the job, but we'll see.
