Cordless phones with horrible static/high pitched noises are the worst.
...or speaker phone.

I like the ones that put their speaker phone right next to their computer, so all you hear is a hard drive or a fan. Had to ask a guy if he was working in a production area as it sounded like giant pumps in the background. Turned out it was the fans on his Mac G5 cycling up and down. Weird.
