I respectfully request that the entry immediately previous be deleted by a moderator.

This is a community for tech support personnel, not for the airing of personal rants about personal misfortunes. It might be different if it were a long-standing member of the community, but best I can tell, this is a first-time poster.

Should that post be deleted, then this one may as well as it has served its purpose. Or, should my sentiments not be shared, then feel free to delete this as well.

Save yourself the trouble. Since so many people seem to have decided they wanted to get offended by it I have gone ahead and deleted it.
And for the record A) this wasn't my first post, B) I have been in tech support for seven fracking years and C) The reason I posted it here was not what had happened to me but rather I thought that some might enjoy my message to hackers. Obviously I was wrong and some people are too sensitive about such things.

oh yeah definately. it's like someone accidentally sending something stupid to an email list. initially you only have one irrelevant message, but then you get 100 people sending the same "you shouldn't have sent this message" emails...

Well yes, except that it's only one post, not 100. Sure, there's lots of comments, but if you really don't care for the post, nobody's forcing you to click on the comments link.

Along those lines, I have a serious issue with anyone who posts in this entry to just ignore and scroll past any post that you don't like. Clearly it's advice that they themselves were unable to follow.

I will cheerfully admit that my email access will be spotty until the end of the week when I get the sidekick back online, but emailing me at my username @ livejournal.com will get to me, and I do try to check it once a day at the least.

Failing that, a polite email to the Original poster may work as well.

Aye, but i haven't said that i don't like this post. My own personal like/dislike of this post is completely irrelevant to my opinion on it's appropriateness. That said, i'm enjoying it thoroughly. Having told the poster that he's full of it, the potential for entertainment based off that is nearly infinite. Oh Frabjous day! I love me some internets bickering.
