Let's jump to conclusions!  Because he received an email in his AOL inbox with the subject line of "Re: Sex Pictures" this guy thinks someone is hacking into his computer at night to send out these pictures, hence the "Re:"  DUH! What else could it possibly be? Spam? Nah! Because there is NO way you can type "RE:" in a subject line. He's definately being hacked.  At night no less!

Fortunately, he put his AOL address in the email so I sent him an email with a subject line of "Re: orgy @ ur place tonite".

For a while, in her old age, my grandmother was convinced that someone was breaking into her garage at night, stealing her car, driving it around, and then replacing it in hte morning with the gas filled back up and the odometer rolled back.

Paranoia is funny.

WIth the amount of spam flying around these days, I assume that everything I get is spam, and just internally whitelist the stuff I want or that I know is beef.

Right now I'm averaging a 99.5% spam detection in my head. the junk mail filter on my installation of thunderbird is at 98.9%, which is pretty damm good.
