Board at work? Make a Trebuchet!
Jun. 2nd, 2006 02:41 pmNo I am not kidding. Special thanks to my favorite geek reading site Gizmodo, The Gadget Blog. Someone posted a picture of a under 3" tall Trebuchet. Now if you don't know what one is... well, shame on you for not knowing medieval war toys .... and oh... look it up. For those of you who do and have the tools and know how, here is a step by step guide to making one at your office.
Now I am sure you are asking... what does this have to do with tech support? Well I'll tell you. Some days are slow. Luckily for me today is one of those days. Also once this baby is built, you can fling things at those pesky walk ups that demand your attention when you have 3 laptops on your desk you are working on, on the phone with another user remoting into their desktop and they still stand there and tap their feet without a ticket.
