Ever have someone say something so outrageously retarded you just can't come up with a response?

Conversation between myself (still Tier 1 god damnit) and a Tier 2 rep:

Me: When testing this gentleman's black/whitelist entries, regardless of whether "*@gmail.com" is listed in the blacklist or whitelist, the correct behavior is observed when a new email is generated and sent. It gets rejected if gmail is blacklisted and allowed through with the appropriate scoring information in the header if whitelisted. If I send a reply, however, the black/whitelist settings are ignored and the mail isn't even scored.

T2: Interesting. Is the mail that isn't being scored plain text, rich text or HTML?

Me: ... plain text; I'm essentially forwarding a rejection notice (standard 550 message refused type thing). The header on the whitelisted email also does not identify any HTML content in the message (which our product would do by default).

T2: Wait, now that I think about it it has to be HTML because you're using a browser to look at it.
