We're just like Abu Ghraib?!
May. 4th, 2006 02:47 pmWe work with a lot of Middle Eastern customers. I will pass no judgement on how that goes - some of the resellers are polite and really cool.
This is an extract from a recent email to our Dubai office manager. The guy's refusing to pay some invoices. I wish more of our clients wrote such entertainingly colourful emails! Names and stuff changed.
Say what you want...even i didnt ask you for unlocking...i asked for the
key/pin and i'll unlock it myself...no need for your service...you dont even
feel like ashamed on what you did...no problem..we saw such culture at abu
ghraib!! (my emphasis there)
2)I'll assume i missunderstood what your collegue said, and offered -by the
way he phoned me not the reverse- so what i did was the following:
*I mailed him many times refusing the sent invoice, at the begining of the
account period! so if he felt like not offering at all what he did, he can
easily cancel it to avoid problems..i also phoned fred, and discussed all
that with him, just the next days after receiving the invoice, and his
answer was always i'll let the ppl at dubai contact you!! so again, that's
not my problem to leave an invoiced account working why i protested against
from the begining
3)Again, i didnt ask for the price, my client was working well with
[competingISP], YOU phoned me offering competitive prices,so i shifted to use your
service just when [competingISP] had a ddos attack...
4)just remember when the thief that violated a right is captured, he'll not
be asked to just return back what he took!!! so better for you -again and
again- to act as gentle when you talk to gentle ppl!! finally my problem
would be with [ISP] as company, and i'll advise my client what to do with
you....since i'll use well his contacts in my dispute against you...
And thats just a small part of days worth of back and forth, abuse, tirades about "knifes in my back", the whole nine yards. Oy.
