I have technic question - why dont you boys design keyboard with caps lock light on same side as caps lock key? I alWAYS DO THIS BECause I cant see both sides of keyboard at once.

I've seen keyboards where the caps lock light is not in the top right. Example #1: my current laptop has it just below the screen and just right of middle. #2: an older laptop has it in a bank of lights above F1-F4. #3: ye olde Acorns had it in the caps lock key.

OK. #1 : If you currently do not have a driver's license, I suddenly suspect I know why. It's called "Your eyes need to scan the environment". This is true of hunt and peck typing as well.

#2 : With grammar like that, I'm sure no one will really notice your occasional "screaming fits". It will fit in perfectly with the rest of the image you appear to be trying to achieve juuuust fine. Just replace a few letters with numbers, overdo the exclamation marks and net shorthand, and you'll fit in just fine as a Myspacer. If anyone asks, just say you upgraded from AOL, and they'll nod in understanding.

#3 : With the REST of the image you're trying to project on-line, do you really and honestly think anyone is going to notice random capslocking? I mean, let's do a reality check here. Your target audience is males aged 16-21, preferably with an IQ low enough to believe you're not a 14 year old guy out of Ohio who's deeply troubled by the dreams of men he has at night. If you're using Windows, you can switch on the ToggleKeys feature in the Accessibility Options Control Panel. This will cause the computer to beep whenever you press one of the LOCK keys.
