The limit on outgoing attactments in email is 2MB, and Charlie, one of the other techs, had JUST SPENT about 20 minutes explaining this to her because her file was just over the limit. And so she calls back, gets me and asks 'if I split the file in two and attached them to the email, would it go through?" - hoping that since the FILES were under 2MB, it'd go. -_-;

Date: 2006-04-28 01:20 am (UTC)I'm sure that many people have been trying to send 10, 50, 300MB attachments and failing, but they're unlikely to complain because 10MB is perceived as being a reasonable limit, whereas I think 2MB most likely would not.
IMHO there's a critical point between the two, but you may disagree if you like.
