Today our word for the day comes from one of our very own customers. Today's word is modificated (mawd`E fi kat-ed) verb - a.) to modify to the point of incomprehension (Example: We have a problems with the accounts mails of the client. The passwods of all accounts mails don´t works. We modificated the password by admin panel of the domain but the accounts don´t works)

Is it just my customers, or does anyone else find that using spellcheck is too taxing for customers?

I had something like that once. A person at my company sent back a digital camera they had been using that was giving them trouble. We sent out a replacement to them, with a label to return. When we got it back, and opened up the box, she had kindly labeled the box for us. In big black letters - it was defaulty

I would hate to see the way people write after hearing them butcher the english language all day. the thought scares me. These are the same people that have a hard time spelling things like hp.com or apple.com

I had quite a few users refusing to move from Nutscrape to our interim exchange webmail service because of the lack of a spellchecker. One of them actually said 'we can't send mails out looking like this, what impression will that give to people?!'

The correct one?....

Using brains is too taxing, much less anything as fancy as spellcheck.
