Is it *really* so much to ask that you put the relevant FSCKING INFORMATION in the ticket once you've worked on it? I know it's making you late for your hourly buttsecks train, but I don't think I'm out of line when I'm asking something so simple as for you to do your GODDAMN JOB!

(Background: I was given a ticket today to map 2 users to a shared folder on the network. Except, as was found out by one of the so-called Network Engineers, they actually need to be mapped to a different network folder. Of course, no one had bothered to put *THAT* information in the goddamn ticket. F*ckers! So I just wasted my time, and will have to go back tomorrow to undo what I did and do it again. F*ckers!)

No, but I used to work with someone whose worklogs were as bad or worse. However, he didn't last as long as George. I was ont he worklog grading team, and whenever I got his to do, I felt my soul die a little.

On the flip side of this, it is equally annoying when the folks you are escalating cases to send it back with angry comments about how I should have done this-that-and-the-other-thing first before escalting. Now anyone who has worked with me can tell you my worklogs are detailed to the point of being anal - there is never *any* guess-work about what I have and have not done. So, if the cork-sucking bastages had bothered to *read* the farging worklog I had just spent 5 minutes composing so they know where I got stuck, they would see I already *DID* all of the shit they are yelling at me for because they say I did no troubleshooting.
