The correct answer is

"Yes" or, as the case may be, "No".

Not "OMG I NEVVAR switch it OFF because that is SO COMPLIMICIMATED!!!!!!oneone!!!!eleventy!!".
Just answer the question... please!

Everytime I hear that they never turn it off I refuse to do anything untill they go over and turn the damn thing on. I made a customer wait at a former job for over an hour listining to me repeat "Please go over and turn the machine on"
