Wonderful.
Mar. 2nd, 2006 06:18 pmThis crazy bitch is calling back. Her singlehanded fuckery of this team's opinion of the human race is now legendary here.
She's been told by managers in North America not to call the support line. But, the call center in Bangalore has apparently been supporting her.
Dear Bangalore call center: STOP IT, YOU ASSHATS.
[edit - Manager to woman: "[name withheld], if you keep calling me a stupid mother fucker, that doesn't make me want to help you."]
[edit the 2nd - caller ID usually identifies her phone number. Now it reads "AT&T LOCAL." Not necessarily an indicator of anything - could just be the call routing - but we wonder if she's travelling north...]

Date: 2006-03-03 01:04 am (UTC)i got a real screamer yesterday. without too much detail, he has a product which was intermittently failing him. he'd kept up his warranty entitlement for years, since in doing so, he was able to call us (ie: bangalore) every few months when the part broke again, and have 'us' replace it, no cost to him. invariably. except he was doing something that was voiding the warranty on that part. completely. and bangalore didn't seem to care / want to follow the rules that if this happened, then there was no protocol to replace the part. so when he got me, who follows rules like a good little employee, and i had to explain that he should never have been given those parts at any point, b/c he was fucking it up and breaking the damn thing himself, he was NOT happy. but, he DID end up buying the part from me, so yay $$.
we hear a lot of complaining about the other satellite sites, and obviously can't be like "oh yeah, jeez, i know!", but sometimes.... grrr.
(and that woman is crazy.)

Date: 2006-03-03 04:11 am (UTC)I am extremely fortunate that I don't have that type of people to deal with ever in my current job, because I'd be on the phone to thir bosses boss in half a heart beat. And then to my boss so that he can initate Damage Control on his end.
Rule #1: Don't fuck with the IT staff, because we can get you fired, in a variety of totally non-detectable ways. ::BOFH-ish grin::
