Call control is one of the mid-level vocal skills we all learn. I've just never been told before today that I should be on radio...

"This is TECH-FM, you're caller number five and we're playing 'Shut the hell up and reboot' by Bill and the Bluescreens. Please stay on the line for your chance to win a brand-new 2006 high-velocity clue ABSOLUTELY FREE."

Our queues have been horrendous all tonight - thank you for providing the first smile I've had for hours.

awesome! I've futzed with Illustrator a bit, but haven't been able to get anything decent.

It needs a caption: BEHOLD the Phenominal Cosmic Power of the DM!

I used to go change the hold music to a loud metal CD. It get's users motivated instead of the slow Kenny G like stuff most places play, where useres fall aslep. That way when they get a person to finally answer, they are groggy, and ask dumb questions like "huh, is the internet down?"

Instead they jump right in, telling you everything. Keeps call time down. Management doesn't approve.

Of course they don't!

You're circumventing their carefully laid plans to pad call times in such a way that as they work through their CD collections, call times incrementally improve, justifying their massive bonus/raise (while all you get is a pat on the back)

;)

Oh. So the +5 Clue of Bludgeoning (Keen, Sure-striking) is last year's model?

The 2006 model is crossbow ammo, while last years model was a club.

The 2004 model sucked, because it was a sai, and who but a monk can use a flippin' sai?

They upgraded last year's model late in the model-year. To a Flaming Clue Hammer of Doom.

Oh! That's right...

There were two types, as I recall. The standard Red Flame, and then the Blue Flame--it had ghost touch so you could still peg the shifty bastards...
