I'm sure we can _all_ agree that we've had this caller at least once.

I've sent them an invite.

The truly sad thing is that the company I work for has clients who can make a peanut butter sandwich without the prompting, but are in every other respect not suitable for Prime Time.

(edited to fix the order to sentences to make better sense, as the original post did not once I re-read it.)

The truely sad thing

Only doing this because I'm a grammar nazi but if you were editing anyway, why not fix "truely" to remove the extraneous 'e' ? ;-)

Bless you and your descendants for a thousand generations - except generation 268 - those are too weird to be blessed :-)

I think if they could see you they'd probably be thinking along the lines of "How in the hell did we get here?" or "So ... what does a guy have to do to get a proper ale around here anyway?" :-)

Oh, neat. Sailors receive extra street cred from me for having to deal with fun things like scurvy and amorous captains. :)

This is why we hire genealogists to help. I traced my family back to France but then hit a stone wall. So I hired a part-time genealogist to help. She got through a few of those walls for me and now I'm fairly certain my family were mimes at one point. Oh, the ultimate shame... :)
