Eh, usually it was Slashdot for me while they were venting. LJ usually got too wanksty for me at work, but if /. got that way I could always pass it off as pertinent to work.

switch it on hell, i'd be happy if they were just in the same building as their equipment. calling about your printer problems when you're in the car driving is the norm for the people i talk to.
