How did you not understand:

For Technical Support Reps to say everything you always wanted to say to a customer, without losing your job.

IF YOU ARE NOT A TECH REP AND YOU ASK A QUESTION IN THE COMMUNITY FOR HELP WITH YOUR COMPUTER, YOU CANNOT HOLD THE COMMUNITY OR ANY OF IT'S MEMBERS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR COMPUTER. THIS IS NOT AN ESTABLISHED TECH SUPPORT HELP COMMUNITY. THIS IS FOR THE TECH REPS TO VENT AND LAUGH AND COMISERATE. SO TAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR COMPUTER, WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE DISCLAIMED THIS!!!

perhaps. but only those same morons would discuss hacked games in an open forum like this

It's hard for me to read that because of the "it's" grammatical mistake in it, and the "comiserate" spelling mistake. These tend to make me ignore the rest of the statement. Perhaps the OP is having a similar problem.

::puts on abestos underwear, and fills the flamthrower with kerosene::

Oh, I understood it. WIth clarity, even.

"Where can I find some free PC games?" is how I understood it, unless you've suddently started talking in sanskrit, and then translated it into english via Manderin Chinese.

I even mulled around for a few minutes of real time (which is close to a half hour of subjective "think time") before deciding to be snarky.

I was under the impression that you had not read the community rules. For tech to tech questions, a bit of groveling is usually in order, unless it meets certain criteria.

Hence, I'm calling this thread frozen, unless someone wants to step it up, in which case I'll break out the Plasma cannon...

Gotta love the underdogs. Some of the best stuff ever made can be found here. And yet you actually have to have some clue to run a lot of it. Even more clue is necessary to appreciate it. What a joy.

look for the adventure/strategy ones. They tend to be cleaner - everyone goes for the crappy ass puzzle tetris /bejewled clones, so they're loaded with spyware.
