That's a pretty worthless article dude.

Some dude reckons Cisco routers have more vulnerabilities.
What are they? Um, can't say.
What do they do? Oh, they allow people to execute malicious code.
Information gained = 0

Normally I would agree with you, but take in to account that A) we know the name of this person making the allegations, B) he works for a security firm, C) he was right about the last one, and D) if he's wrong about this, he's essentially screwed himself over in the future.

So no, it's not worthless.

I'm not saying he's wrong, I'm saying the article is information free.

So a security guy has found some security holes in a supposedly secure product, eh? No foolin...

Tell me when a) we know what the holes are, b) we know how they are being/are likely to be used by lowlifes or c) this story becomes in any way interesting or relevant.

I would assume he's not going to tell the world what the specific flaws are until Cisco has a chance to fix them. I wouldn't really want to invite all the world to exploit the holes, which I'd be doing if I published them.

To me, the story pretty much just downgrades my view of Cisco. So it's still not totally worthless. :P

Actually, I don't know all that much about Cisco because I don't use any of their equipment personally. I do know that my dad has replaced two routers in one year at home due to overheating. So they weren't way high up there on my list to begin with.

He actually can't tell the world, or Cisco, because of the gag orders. Only ISS can tell...

If it's not exaggerated. He is quite angry, and works for their competitor.
