alright. there is this sys-admin from an big company, and iam only an small 1st Line Supporter....

CS reported an Bluescreen. Error persists on CPU0 (0 from 4)
Microcode Revision: 0:00 (should be 0:18)
so i tell him to update his bios.
Customer: "no, its the CPU, we had the same problem once and it fixed it!"
me: "sure, because our techs are adviced to update the system when they find out its out of date."
customer: "no! its not the Bios, its the CPU!"
me: "alright. i'll swap the CPU, but i'll tell the tech to NOT update the Bios! if the problem is fixed, great. if not, you'll update the bios and get an special message to your account that we wont swap ANY hardware any more for such issues! and you'll have to PAY the call!"
customer: "ok. i KNOW the problem will be solved!"

customer: "problem persists. iam sure you swaped the WRONG cpu! swap all 4 CPUs so we can get sure!"
me: "NO! now listen! we made our part. i told you in advance its not the CPU. i wont do ANY further hardware calls before you havnt updated the bios! if you want the 4 CPUs, i'll send you an bill and they'll be swaped AFTER you payed it!"
customer: "ok. i'll update the bios. but if that wont work, we'll SUE you!"
me: "alright. go ahead!"

Customer: "no further Bluescreen occured. i think the problem is solved. was that REALLY only the Bios ?"
Me: "hell, yes! thats what i told you the whole time! now update ALL your servers. i put an special message to your account that we WONT swap any hardware if the systems arnt up2date! thanks for calling. bye!" *click*
