I've just switched to mac support for our products, two days of training would have been sufficient, the 2 weeks of training I received were a lesson in sadism. Thank god for my Zaurus and Freecell

The phone support has been pretty easy... "You have Tiger? Our CD Doesnt support tiger, you need to download the software off our website." repeat ad nauseum.

More fun is we've switched to VOIP and the calls drop random.
Customers mumble and talk like you have marbles in your mouth on the phone I'm really not going to be able to help.

Atleast there's no more right clicking.

Cute! But you still won't hear me saying right click on the phone... If they have that mouse and know how to use it when I say "ctrl click" more power to them.

I mostly miss scroll wheels when using my macs at home. And Puppy Linux doesn't seem to like the idea of a virtual scroll with the third button on my (crippled) think pad.

You mean, unless they have a 2 button mouse?

OS X supports right clicks and scroll wheels right out of the box. Any old USB mouse will work, no drivers required.

The good news there is the user would specifically have to install a USB mouse and the only reason a user would do that is if they are a PC-convert (like me) and start to go crazy with the single button mouse!

I know OSX supports right clicking, left clicking, lick clicking or what ever kind of click you want to do, how ever some mac users will freak out at the thought of doing something like a windows user, it's just easier to not have the headache.

I have to admit, that mouse is pretty cool. I demo'd one at the Apple store and it was pretty sweet. And I'll be getting one myself when my new iMac gets here. If it sucks I'll just plug in my trusty Logitech optical.

they are so cool. cool enough, that when mine died a hideous glorious death earlier this year, i bought another one.
