No Firmware-Updates done. not EVER. Versions are from 2001.
But customer updates Software (Security Patches, Service-Packs etc)
Why dont they also update the firmware and driver then ?
well.. they will update firmware now and then erase the raid-array and make it new.
then restore the backup.

Date: 2005-10-04 06:38 am (UTC)yes. they were smart enought to make a backup every day. as told, i "normally" work with skilled high-end-techs :) but they always fail when it comes to details like regular firmware updates. you cant expect an driver from 2001 to work properly with windows 2003 ServicePack1.
and you cant expect an driver, working with the newest updates and platforms from M$, to work with an 5 year old firmware.
