Does anyone know if there's a way to remotely cause another winxp box to do a DHCP release/renew without logging into it?

We use 'net send' to annoy eachother around the office, I wanted to take it to a whole new level. we have an app that crashes when you release and renew your address.

any thoughts?

(sorry for any x-posting)

if you had rights on the DHCP server you can forse a renew on the server for a specifc IP... however from the client side you need to be able to log in, then have rights on said login. the only other thing i can think of is get an app in there that you can activate remotely to renew the IP.
