Just because your bought a fax machine last fall (9 months ago) and it was new when you bought it doesn't mean a) you're going to get a new one back on warranty b) you're entitled to next day service for free when you haven't purchased the upgraded warranty. You've already contacted corperate and you have been assigned a case manager in a different country, calling me and bitching and whining to me will not speed up your call from corperate as while you're tying up your line they're trying to call you.

If your fax machine is so important to your business that you are losing thousands of dollars per day maybe you should have taken a fraction of the money you're losing now and purchased a second fax machine.

And if it was a corporation, your IT monkey would be the one calling, or just writing the damn thing off.

Lately I've been putting $150 dollar devices out at the homes. for the most part, as long as people don't abuse the death out of them, they work fine. Except for the one site that was cranky because the thing twent through a bunch of cartridges in the first month. that was when I discovered that they had pushed the duty cycle's limit of paper through it. No surprise, it was broken.
