Somebody swapped the sugar with the stupid again today. I've gotten two calls so far with user's calling in to report a problem, only to then say that they don't have time to troubleshoot it, so they'll just call back later.

WTF?!?!?

@$%#&*!!

I'm getting stupid's aunts and uncles--they all assume that I can't troubleshoot the problem so they all want a problem ticket. To their local support. Who will call me themselves to figure out how to fix the problem when they can't do it.

Those are the type of calls that I love, nothing that I have to do, and great for the call handle time. Leaves you wondering why the guy on the other end is clogging up the phone lines, and why they even bothered. But at least they're not complaining...

Damn. I only have to document when I actually *do* something. Then again, I just do tech support for cell phones, whole different beast.

Are you kidding me? I *love* those. Brings my AHT down, and I just document in the case notes that the customer called, not at home to troubleshoot, will call later. BFD. 2 min call averaged with some of the monstrosity multi-issue (No sync turns to No route turns to Setting up Outlook turns to Setting up WEP on wireless...ugh) calls is a really good thing for my AHT.
